They help to establish the credibility of a treatment facility, the credentials of its staff, and the compliance of its procedures with state and federal safety standards. Restore is a mental health program at a fully licensed treatment center with multiple accreditations and affiliations. Some of them include:
Joint Commission Gold Seal
This rigorous national standard must be earned through an application process that takes six months or more and requires an intensive “audit” of a provider’s treatment outcomes and processes. Accreditation must be maintained through ongoing reports and on-site evaluations. The Joint Commission acts as an independent third party when evaluating programs and making recommendations for improvement. Accreditation from the Joint Commission is important because it shows that a mental health treatment center is committed to the highest quality of patient care.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
SAMHSA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is a leading authority on mental health treatment information, both at the state and national levels. Its certification tool allows states to assess the qualifications of prospective treatment programs. SAMHSA’s National Advisory Council also prescribes care guidelines for providers. A treatment center’s inclusion in SAMHSA’s directory is a stamp of approval: It means they have passed SAMHA’s criteria for licensing and certification.
The Florida Department of Children and Families
Accreditation by the Florida Department of Children and Families signifies that our program complies with the highest standards of professionalism, as defined by Florida’s Office of Inspector General. As the DCF states on its website, “accreditation is a coveted award that symbolizes professionalism, excellence, and competence.” The DCF provides ongoing oversight of health care administration, with the goal of constantly improving care and ensuring compliance by providers. Affiliation with the DCF and inclusion in its directory thus ensure a higher level of accountability from member providers.
Agency for Healthcare Administration
In the state of Florida, certification by the AHCA is a requirement of mental health care facilities and many other healthcare providers. Approval by the AHCA means that a provider meets the AHCA’s regulatory standards, after an application process that typically includes an on-site inspection. An AHCA-accredited facility demonstrates the highest level of quality and commitment in patient care.
Restore Mental Health Reviews
Our reviews on Google, Glassdoor and elsewhere also say a lot about the quality of the Restore mental health program. Here are some highlights:
Grace H. said, “The Restore program at FHE has given me a new life. I would very much recommend their program for its open-minded therapists and people WHO WILL GIVE YOU RESPECT. I can’t tell you how many times I was dismissed and written off with a medication at other places, but they invested in me, and I encourage you to invest in them!
Matteo S. described why he chose Restore and how he came to view treatment there as a right choice: “After going through a period of personal difficulty in my life, I contacted Restore … I picked Restore because of their medical approaches and options for treatment. I was seeking therapy in the mental health area, so it was a bit concerning that they also handled substance abuse issues (not to take away from the seriousness of substance abuse, but I was concerned that mental health care was not their focus) … After several weeks of residential treatment, I can highly recommend their program … I am doing better and continue to [do better] every day. They’ve given me better days, and for that I am forever thankful.”
Restore Reviews on Glassdoor
High employee satisfaction can be another factor by which to gauge the quality of a mental health program like Restore. Our therapists and staff, both current and former, had many positive things to say about the program and our center:
- One therapist said, “Great place. Innovative and caring place that appreciates employees!”
- Another employee noted “strong support” and “a cohesive team.” They listed numerous pros. Among them: “competitive pay, flexibility to pursue company benefiting projects, ability to work remotely … strong compensation and bonus structure.”
- “This company treats you like family,” read another review, noting the “safe and comfortable working environment.”
